Working tool / 01
Keep the important decisions visible.
A brief and review record for a task you want to complete with an AI copilot.
01 / Direction
Define the useful outcome and the constraints before choosing a model.
See an illustrative answer
A clear booking form for a small workshop. It must work on a phone and explain what happens after submission.
ReviewCould someone understand the job without reading your prompt history?
02 / Delegation
Give the copilot a bounded task, relevant context, and examples you have permission to share.
See an illustrative answer
Draft form states and identify missing copy. I decide the fields, tone, and data we actually need.
ReviewDoes the task preserve the decisions you are responsible for?
03 / Review
Name the actual checks: real content, awkward states, keyboard use, small screens, and failed requests.
See an illustrative answer
Test a long name, invalid email, slow connection, and keyboard-only submission.
ReviewHave you checked behaviour as well as appearance?
04 / Decision
Record a reason for each. Be specific enough to help the next review.

Keep the single-column form. Rewrite vague errors. Leave out unnecessary phone-number collection.
ReviewCan you explain why the result is ready for the next person?
Why this exists
AI is very good at producing more material. It is not responsible for deciding what deserves to exist. This guide turns that gap into a practical working method: frame the problem, use the machine for leverage, inspect the result, and keep the final judgment human.
Notes behind the questions
Brief before prompt
Start with the decision, audience, constraints, and evidence. A clear brief gives the model something more valuable than a clever instruction.
Inspect the middle
The fastest path is rarely the first output. Learn where to look for missing context, generic patterns, and invisible assumptions.
Ship with a point of view
Use AI to compress production time while keeping authorship, responsibility, and the final yes-or-no decision with you.
This edition is intentionally small. The archive holds the longer thinking behind it.
